Make A Bird Feeder – Home Improvement Projects

With all this snow on the ground our feathered friends have a hard time finding enough food. Treat them with these easy bird feeders.
Mix together a cup of peanut butter, a cup of shelled seeds like sunflower seeds, 1/4 cup of raisins or dried applies and one cup of lard. Spread the mixture on the petals of a pine cone and hang it in your yard. The birds will get a nutritious, delicious treat, and you’ll have the joy of watching them while they eat. Also, next time you’re at the grocery, get a piece of suet from the butcher counter and put it into a mesh bag, like a potato or onion bag. Hang it in your yard and watch the birds flock to it.
