More Things To Do With Beer – Home Improvement

Last month we told you about the many uses of beer around the house. It was so popular that here’s part 2:
Did you know you can clean gold jewelry with beer? Just put your jewelry in a shallow dish and cover it with beer. Let it soak, then take it out, rinse it and polish it with a soft, dry cloth. Flat beer is also good for polishing wooden furniture. Just pour a little on a soft cloth and rub it in.
Outside the house, beer is great for getting rid of the brown spots in your lawn. The acid kills fungus and insects and the sugar feeds the grass. If you place a dish of beer in your garden, snails and slugs will crawl in and drown. If you’re having a picnic and don’t want to be bugged by bugs, place cups of beer around the outskirts of your table and the pests will be having such a good time drinking that they’ll leave you alone.
Have any of your own uses for beer? Let us know!

Don Dominick Says,

Did you share this with Eddie Naro. Probably not, because he has never allowed a beer to go flat.
