Have the Cleanest Screens in the Neighborhood – Home Improvement

Has summer’s dust left grime all over your window screens? Then it’s time to clean them. Don’t groan…it’s really not that big of a project.
First make a cleaning solution from 3 gallons of warm water, 4 tablespoons of dish detergent and 1/4 cup of ammonia. Remove your screens and lay them on a clean surface or prop them against the wall. Rinse them with the hose, then using a soft scrub brush, gently wash them with the cleaning solution, using a circular motion. Be carful not to push too hard or you could stretch or tear the screens. Rinse them off with the hose and see if you missed any spots. If not, give your screens a tap on the ground to shake off the water and replace them in your windows. If your screens are small enough, you can wash them in the bathtub or shower. Have any questions? Give us a call here at Blass Residential Services.
